Who this immersive is for
This immersive is for people who...
Want to learn, hands-on, how to take full responsibility for an animal—from the moment of the hunt through to complete, nose-to-tail utilization
Are ready to develop a complete, integrated skillset: tracking, harvesting, field dressing, hide tanning, butchering, preserving, cooking, eating and honouring every part of the animal
Seek real experience, not theory—where knowledge is earned through direct contact with land, animal, and process
Are drawn to wild places and honest challenge, and want to be shaped by both
Want practical, embodied skills that build true confidence, capability, and self-reliance
Feel the pull toward a deeper, more respectful relationship with the animals they consume
Are willing to prepare themselves and take full responsibility for their role in the hunt and its outcome
Value learning through doing, participation, and immersion—not observation
Believe wild animals are among the most powerful and nourishing foods available to humans
Want to reclaim the ancestral way of eating—whole, nutrient-dense, and complete
Hold reverence for life, and feel called to honor an animal fully—through the intentional use of meat, organs, fat, hide, and bone
Sense that something essential has been missing from modern life, and are ready to step back into it in a real, grounded way
This immersive is not for people who...
Want distance from the reality of food
If you prefer not to engage with where your food comes from or what it requires, this is not the place to start.
Are uncomfortable with the taking of life
This immersive involves direct contact with the full process. There is no abstraction here.
Prefer observation over participation
This is not something you watch. You are expected to take part in every stage.
Want theory without real contact
Everything here is learned through doing, not explanation alone.
What participants come away with
A Complete Relationship to Food
From harvest to preparation, you understand exactly what it takes to bring food to the table—and your place in that process.
Comfort with the Reality of Taking Life
Direct experience removes abstraction. You develop a grounded, honest relationship with what it means to take an animal’s life.
Practical Nose-to-Tail Capability
You gain hands-on skill in processing, preserving, and preparing every part of the animal with intention and respect.
Land & Animal Awareness
Time in the field builds a deeper understanding of terrain, tracking, and how animals actually move and live.
Responsibility Without Avoidance
You learn to step fully into your role in the hunt—without outsourcing, softening, or avoiding what it requires.
A Shift in Perspective
Food, nature, and your place in it are no longer conceptual—they become real, immediate, and personal.
Immersive itinerary
The itinerary for this Immersive is built to flex around which days we have hunting success. The slots labelled 'Programming' will, together, contain all of the following. The order they're delivered in will depend on the weather, and the number of animals harvested that day.

This immersive is built around the full process of harvesting an animal—from the moment of the hunt through to complete utilization. Over multiple days in the backcountry, you will take part in tracking, harvest, and the work that follows. Nothing is separated or hidden. There are no shortcuts here.
