Make the shot you can
stand behind.

Maximize your ethical range, and build the capability to make precise, lethal shots under real conditions in the Precision Hunter Immersive

This immersive places you in real terrain, where distance, wind, angle, and consequence must all be accounted for

This immersive places you in real terrain, where distance, wind, angle, and consequence must all be accounted for

Over multiple days in the backcountry, participants develop the skill to build, confirm, and execute precise shots—progressing from foundational marksmanship to extended range engagements under field conditions.

From rifle setup and ballistic understanding to spotting, communication, and unknown distance shooting, every element is trained as it exists in the wild. No controlled range comfort, no artificial shortcuts—only the systems and judgment that hold when the shot matters.

Of Training

BORN Immersives are not tourism experiences. They are living field experiences designed to restore coherent relationship with land, animal, skill, and self.

Direct Relationship with the Living World

You don’t just observe nature—you move within it. Terrain, weather, and animal are not concepts, but forces you meet in real time. Awareness is earned through contact.

Embodied Competence

Skill is not theory. It is what you can do, under pressure, with consequence. We build capability that holds—tools, movement, judgment, and execution.

Responsibility in Action

Every decision carries weight. Your actions when hunting affect land, animal, and people. You are accountable for your decisions, and impact.

Vitality as a Standard

Strength, energy, and resilience are not optional. We pursue physical and mental capacity that allows you to meet the moment fully.

Community & Shared Field

You do not stand alone. Coherence extends beyond the individual—into how you show up with others, communicate, and move as a group.

Refined marksmanship skills rooted in consistency, control, and repeatable precision

Ethical Shot Placement

The ability to confidently place ethical shots under real-world hunting conditions

Ballistic Awareness

A deeper understanding of ballistics, shot placement, and environmental variables (wind, terrain, distance)

Field-Proven Capability

Practical experience shooting beyond the range—field positions, time constraints, and imperfect setups

System Confidence

Increased confidence in your rifle, optics, and overall hunting system

Deliberate Execution

The discipline to slow down, assess, and only take shots you can stand behind

Judgment to Walk Away

A clear standard for what constitutes a responsible and ethical shot—and the judgment to walk away when it’s not there

Respect for the Act

A grounded, respectful relationship to the act of hunting and taking life

Shared Standard

A sense of community and lasting relationships with others committed to this authentic way of life

Immersive itinerary

Expect variable mountain and backcountry conditions.

Our yurts are heated, and weather is expected to be mild in late-July, but evenings can be cool and rain is possible.

Conclusion

The structure

The structure

This immersive is built to develop real capability in the field. Over multiple days, you will train in terrain where distance, wind, and consequence are present. There are no shortcuts here. Only the systems, repetition, and judgment required to make the shot when it matters—and to walk away when it doesn’t.

What This Immersive Provides
Experience Level

Beginner to experienced. Firearm familiarity is not required. Our instructors will teach to your level. Everyone will profoundly advance their skills no matter your current experience.

Physical Demand

Low. Our shooting range will be within 200m of our camp. This course does not involve long hikes or require heavy pack carries.

Sleeping Style

Backcountry camping in our fully enclosed yurts

Food Provided

Yes — high-quality, nutrient-dense meals prepared in the field

Field Immersion

Train in real terrain, not a controlled range. Every variable—wind, distance, and position—must be read and accounted for.

Deliberate Repetition

Build consistency through focused reps, guided correction, and the time required to refine your process.

As a division of AUTHA, BORN operates as a Private Membership Association (PMA). This means registration is available to members only rather than to the general public. This structure allows us to operate with greater integrity, responsibility, and alignment to our values. To participate in any BORN Immersive, you will be asked to join the PMA as part of your registration. Membership is simple and lifetime, involves no recurring fees, and formalizes your entry into a private field of shared commitment, accountability, and experience where every product, service, and offering under the AUTHA umbrella becomes available.

Frequently asked questions.

Questions? We have answers. Here’s what you need to know about working with us.

    • Do I need prior hunting experience to attend?

No, but familiarity is helpful. Instruction will meet you where you are, but you are expected to take responsibility for safe handling and learning.

    • What kind of firearm should I bring?

This course trains shotguns and center-fire rifles. If you are bringing your own, you want a pump action or semi-automatic shotgun in any caliber, and a center-fire rifle in any caliber. If you do not have a shotgun or a center-fire rifle, you may use ours. This course will not train pistols. More details will be provided in the handbook sent to registrants.

    • Will we encounter real predators?

This is active predator territory, but a wild encounter on this course is unlikely because we will be discharging firearms throughout the course. While encounters are never guaranteed, all training is designed around real-world conditions and probabilities.

    • Is this about hunting predators?

No. This immersive is focused on defence, awareness, and safe movement through predator environments—not hunting.

    • Is this safe?

Safety is a primary focus. Participants are guided through progressive training, strict firearm protocols, and controlled scenarios designed to build competence without unnecessary risk.

    • What makes this different from a standard firearms course?

This is not a range-based course. It is a field immersion where firearms are only one part of a larger system that includes awareness, terrain, behaviour, decision-making, and less lethals like rubber bullets, bangers and spray.

    • Can I participate if I don’t plan to carry a firearm regularly?

Yes—but you should be open to learning and engaging with the full system of predator awareness and response.

    • Will there be cell signal?

Cell signal will be limited or non-existant. Starlink and emergency communication will be available in our camp.

    • What if weather conditions are poor?

We train in real conditions whenever it is safe to do so. Wind, temperature, rain and terrain are part of the learning environment—not something we avoid.

    • Can I bring my child?

Yes. Children aged 14 and up are welcome here if accompanied by a parent or guardian. This Immersive has a limited number of spots to ensure individual intention, so no discounts are available for multiple admissions.

    • What are the yurt accommodations like?

You'll have a private bed within a shared sleeping space. There are no dividers between beds, but we have changing tents for changing your clothes.
